This equity has been earned by the way we have conducted ourselves over the years. It puts on us the responsibility to ensure that how we achieve something is more important than what we achieve. It encourages us to have an honesty of purpose in whatever we do. The Tata Code of Conduct translates these values and principles into a code that helps remind us what we can and cannot do. It is very useful to explain to anyone who works with us or engages with us what is the way we would like to go about doing our business. It helps define the ethos which defines our professional life.
