Name of the Client:
The project is being implemented at newly created industrial township authority named " Nabadiganta Industrial Township Authority" (NDITA) dedicated to IT /BPO companies of this township. Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority is the nodal agency for implementation of project.
The project is being implemented by Nabadiganta Water Management Limited (SPV company of JUSCO Ltd & Voltas Ltd., both Tata Enterprises). JUSCO is stakeholder of 74% on BOT basis in PPP (Public Private Partnership) mode. The capital investment will be Rs. 680 Million. The viability gap funding of 35% will be provided by Govt. of India through Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission.
JUSCO is working here as a contractor.
Brief description of the Project:
The Project comprises of following components to be constructed by JUSCO
Water System (Pt – I)
- Underground Reservoir : 1 MG
- Clear Water Pump House
- Rising Main - 3.3 KM
- Elevated Service Water Reservoir 0.5 MG : 1 Unit
- Water Distribution Mains : 16.90 KM (As per DPR)
- Additional Length Estimated: 2.54 KM
- Electrical Installations
Sewerage System (Pt – II)
- Sewer Trunk Mains & Laterals – 15.89 KM (As per DPR)
- Additional Length Estimated – 1.12 KM
- Intermediate Pumping Stations – 2 Units
- Sewage Treatment Plant 8.3 MLD (Being built by Voltas)
